Maintenance and Servicing of marine control and instrumentation has been the core activity of Bond Instrumentation since the company was formed in 1975. Bond service engineers have many years experience of pneumatic and electronic control systems in marine and land based applications and can offer service/repairs to all types of control equipment. Typical systems we provide maintenance & service on, are:-

Propulsion Controls Diesel Alternator/Power Management Systems
Boiler Combustion Controls
Servodyne Electronic Governors and bridge control for DOXFORD engines

Burner Management Systems
Alarm and Monitoring Equipment
Cargo Pumping and Valve Control
Main engine and propulsion controls can be serviced for a variety of engine and propeller combinations from large variable speed crosshead engines driving a fixed propeller to multi engine installations driving C.P. propellers via gearboxes and clutches. In all cases Bond can offer complete service/repair of engine, clutch and propeller pitch controls using pneumatics or electronics.
Monitoring and control systems from simple annunciators to integrated monitoring & control can be serviced and maintained. Sensors can be calibrated as required by Classification Society requirements and the monitoring systems checked for unmanned machinery space operation.
Bond Instrumentation can provide service on both pneumatic and electronic based equipment for all types of combustion control systems as used on single burner package and auxiliary boilers to multiburner boilers for steam turbine propulsion and cargo pumps.
Burner Management systems compatible with large multiburner steam generating boilers can be serviced/repaired and re-commissioned to optimum operating condition in conjunction with the boiler combustion system.
Plant instrumentation, transmitters, controllers and control valves of all types can be serviced either onboard or in Bond workshops. When machinery and plant is operating under normal conditions the instrumentation and control systems are recommissioned and set up for optimum operation.

Cargo pumping control systems on crude oil tankers and product carriers are maintained for remote operation. Vac-strips, separator controls, tank gauging and inert gas systems can all be serviced and repaired.
